Besides the “Devil Drago” earlier, I was kind of questioning this page. But I decided to keep it dark because I wanted some serious tension. I wanted the Titany to look absolutely vile and threatening. So I went for it over a more cartoony look in this particular page. I want it to be a life-threatening situation for Bushie. I don't have anything against him though, I swear! |

But in Drago's shadow Titany feels quite small, so the art reflects this. I didn't give Drago the same treatment as Titany on the previous page because I wanted him to retain a degree of purity. Notice that the sun is breaking through the clouds in the background. |
