A sketch of Hinawa. Sorry for the boring pose, but I had to design how I’d draw her and keep the pose simple. Someday I will have time for making actual pieces… when I’m not doing a comic about a buncha punk kids.
Hinawa always seemed like she was pretty young to me, like… a lot younger than Flint and etc. I also figured she’d be the type of woman who’d always get mistaken for her kids’ baby sitter, haha. So I tried to make her look kind of old/young here. Whatever that means!
Hinawa’s shoes have always seemed like they were supposed to be kind of ugly, which make sense since she’s a farm girl and needs practical footwear…
